You Can’t Ignore It

I am just a young man,

Living life to explore.

Seeing many beautiful things,

Gosh, I want to see it more.

But seeing the wonders of our world,

It blows my mind, no it’s unreal.

But there is, however, a thought in my head,

Begging to come out.

When I see it being destroyed,

It makes me want to shout.

Our society is ignorant,

Ignorant to the real problems.

Living in a world we all share,

But hey, they don’t really care.

So many of our wild species are dying,

The poor are crying,

And Mother Nature is sighing.

But what does that all mean,

It means that time is running out.

God thought us all to help one another,

But is that really what we are doing?

Sure we are but many of us aren’t,

In fact, many of us don’t really care.

What we need is to work together,

To the real problems out there.

To save our animals,

To save our waters,

To save our land,

To help the poor,

To help those who don’t have a voice.

All it takes is one act of kindness,

And you can change the world
